Welcome to ccchrysalis.com! This is a very exciting year for us. We have many new things happening within our community, including an improved web site with many updated features, such as personal profiles and blogs.
Another exciting change for our Chrysalis community is a new location for our flights. All future Chrysalis flights will be held at the newly renovated FFA Camp in Cherry Grove. After several tours of the facility, and much prayerful consideration, the Chrysalis board of directors unanimously voted to make the Cherry Grove FFA Camp our new home for flights.
We have had many good years in the facilities at the Garden City Chapel. But due to rising costs and other factors, it was necessary to find a new venue. The board of directors believes the FFA Camp in Cherry Grove is the perfect fit for the Chrysalis community.
The camp is nestled in an oak grove, directly on the marsh in Cherry Grove. It is isolated and tranquil, yet has every amenity we would ever need to host a Chrysalis weekend. It boasts renovated dorms and a full-court gym, a stage, breakout conference rooms, a cafeteria and an outside fire pit area. It also has a guest cottage on site for Big House.
In addition, Camp Director Zane Bryant is truly an asset to have on board. He is very passionate about the facility he has been put in charge of, and truly thinks it is one of the prettiest place on Earth.
We look forward to the entire Chrysalis community seeing our new flight home!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
1. Take Hwy. 17 North to the Cherry Grove Exit.
2. Turn right on Sea Mountain Hwy.
3. Take the first road to the left (at the Biscuit Shack and Bank).
4. Go to the stop sign and bear to the right. You will be on Little River Neck Road.
The FFA Camp is approximately 3 miles on the right. A sign is at the entrance.
